Capital Campaign Branding & Storytelling

Developed and executed the full brand strategy for Portland Stage’s largest capital campaign. Created the messaging framework (“Act. Inspire. Connect.”), led all visual design, and produced campaign materials—from brochures to multimedia storytelling—that aligned donors, audiences, and board leadership around a shared vision.

COVID Crisis Comms & Digital Pivot

Led all communications during the COVID crisis—producing a fully filmed digital season under union compliance, managing crisis messaging, and launching video storytelling that drove a 1,515% increase in engagement and earned a 20-minute PBS NewsHour feature.

Charlotte Symphony – Product Innovation & Audience Diversification

Directed a cross-departmental communications and brand strategy that supported multiple initiatives: a $50M capital campaign launch, a new international music director announcement, a rebranded mobile stage concert series (CSO Roadshow), and community-designed programming including Soul Kitchen’s Soulful Christmas and Thorgy Thor Christmas. Secured a $50K in-kind rebrand from Perkins&Will and helped lead immersive concert development, contributing to an 80% year-over-year increase in earned media and national recognition for audience diversification.

In professional theater, you rarely have access to actors or sets until just before opening night. I built a content strategy to solve that—before COVID made it critical. I invested in my own gear, created stop-motion promos and poster assets, and launched a digital-first campaign that increased video engagement by 1,515%. During the pandemic, that groundwork let us pivot fast—with original visuals, a digital season launch, and a two-hour livestream event that drew more than 7x our usual audience.
